About the Event

Save the Date! March 4th, 2017. The Seycove Family of Schools is pleased to present the 35th Annual Seycove Auction, Dinner and Dance. This gala has successfully raised funds that benefit the four schools in the area, Seycove Secondary School, and Cove Cliff, Dorothy Lynas and Sherwood Park Elementary Schools since 1983.

As part of the annual tradition, a theme is chosen each year. For 2017 it is a Pajama Party theme so get ready to party and dance in your comfortable pajamas!

Time: 6pm to midnight
Dinner: 7pm to 8pm
Silent Auction: 6pm to 10pm
Live Auction: 8:30pm
Band/Dancing: 9:00pm

Get Involved

We are currently looking for help: we need a treasurer! Also, we need take-down help, help with auction item handout, and a variety of jobs for the evening of the Event. Help us throw the best fundraiser of the year!

Buying Tickets

Tickets are $50 for the dinner, dance & auction.

Sponsors and Volunteers get to pick their tables first, and previous ticket purchasers get second pick. Tickets go on sale Feb. 1st.

Come to the Auction

Simply purchasing a ticket and attending the event is helpful. You will have an opportunity to bid on items at the live and silent auctions, and because the community donates all of the items, your purchase goes directly towards the proceeds for the Seycove Family of Schools.

Volunteer During the Event

Come help with the Auction Tables, the Buffet, Clean-up, Bartend for a few hours, or work the Ticket table, e-mail volunteering@seycoveauction.org. Thank you!

Where The Funds Go

The proceeds from the Seycove Auction are split evenly between the 4 schools and scholarships for graduates. The Seycove Auction made just over $30000 in 2016 and each school received $6000. We are trying to make more money this year so please donate items to our silent auction!

Each School's Parent Advisory Council decides where they will direct the efforts of the event. Funds raised by the auction have supported the following: Technology hardware and software; Teaching resources and equipment; Music and Drama programs; Sports and Athletic programs; Library resources; Awards ceremonies; Playground Equipment and Club activities.
